Alexandria Auto Repair

I do most of my auto work myself but for anything over my head I take it here. I started back in 2013 with my 2001 Volvo and now I take my 2010 Ford here. They are trustworthy, honest, and responsive. I moved away from Alexandria but still make the trip here because once you find a good mechanic you don't change!

My 2013 535 BMW was limping home on 395 and I managed to break down for good right at this location and was waiting for a tow truck to take me down the road to the BMW dealership. When I saw that this was a foreign auto shop, I went inside and the mechanic Raju was there and he went out to my car and troubleshot the issue (felt it was a water pump and he was right on). I normally get BMW to handle all my maintenance but I took a shot with these guys and they have been super responsive, their price is almost HALF of what BMW was going to charge me from a quote I got over the phone, and they use genuine OEM parts with a great warranty. I'm going to permanently go to these guys for all of my mechanical needs and I think they deserve all the 5 star reviews they've gotten. Thanks so much!

I have been a loyal customer of Import Auto Service for more than a decade. They are professional, responsive, courteous, and, most importantly, honest. Their work is of the highest quality and I have also found their service charges to be significantly lower than their competitors. These guys know European Autos. I found them using the Open Bay app. If I hadn't used it, I'm not sure I would have found them otherwise. I needed an oil change for my Audi, and the dealer didn't have any openings for almost 45 days! I needed someone who worked exclusively on German or European automobiles and these guys fit the bill. All the other patrons I met there were there for service on their Mercedes, BMW, Audi or Volkswagen. Some had been loyal customers for some time. Based on my experience, I will be back.

Been taking an old Audi for inspection for the past couple years. They are very honest, short wait time, very friendly, clean shop. I do all my own service, but if I couldn't I would definitely take any car to them. I would rate them 6 stars if I could. See you guys next year 😊👍.
